Revigrés receives international A’Design Award Gold 2014 in Italy

Revigrés
is the first Portuguese company in the ceramics’ sector to receive the international A’Design Award obtaining the Gold distinction in the A’Design Award & Competition. Revigrés was distinguished, along with Revicomfort flooring, in the category “Construction Materials, Construction Components, Structures and Systems”, this having been the first time that Portugal has won this category.The A ’Design Award & Competition is regarded as one of the most all-encompassing, prestigious world competitions: thanks to the diversity of the contents and rigour in the jury selection process formed by University lecturers, professionals, businessmen and media personalities of acknowledged know how in the fields of design, architecture and the arts. This competition is organised every year and enjoys the sponsorship of the Bureau of European Design Associations (BEDA), other design institutions and various international media partners.
During the last 5 years the A’ Design Award & Competition has already registered 30,000 participants from 280 countries. Portugal is 17th in the ranking of winning countries led by the USA, Italy, England, Germany, Belgium and Spain are some of the European countries that hold leading positions in this ranking.
The winning products - distinguished by their excellence in terms of Design, Innovation, Technology and Creativity – are at an exhibition organised by the MOOD- Museum of Outstanding Design, being held in the city of Como.
Revigrés is part of the winning projects published in the Yearbook - Winner Designs which brings together the best projects worldwide.
