The aim of the project for the interior was to make the most of and bring back to life the history and tradition of the structure through design-driven furnishings and contemporary materials, all in a practical space that can accommodate up to six guests, with each of the building’s three levels assigned a specific function. The building looks onto a medieval square, and its three stories are connected by a system of open stairs that unite the tradition of cast iron and white marble with contemporary materials like raw steel, concrete and wood.

The first space you encounter at the new LAGO WELCOME is the living room, which features a restored working stone fireplace, a small, comfortable

Air sofa

Air shelving

suspended on strong sheets of tempered glass.

Heading down the cast iron spiral stair, you enter the kitchen and dining area, with a vaulted brick ceiling and a starry sky painted on the walls. From there, you can access the large garden, where you can enjoy a magnificent view of the Asolo hills.

In this space, the exposed concrete floor combines with the masterful restoration of the original plasterwork and

Finally, on the first floor, which is accessed via an interior marble stair, you will find a large suite with two comfortable

and an elegant private bathroom with a Skin washbasin. The space is defined by a stunning perforated volume, inspired by the textures of the grates on old confessionals.
